Ellie Jane Goulding was born in Hereford England on December 30 1986. Tracey Goulding Summers is her mother. Her father Arthur Goulding comes from a funeral home-based family. Goulding's elder sister Isabel and her younger sister Jordan are all sisters. Alex is her brother. Alex, her brother is an bass player and a Hereford Band members. In her early years she was encouraged by her mother to pursue a career in music by her mother. When she was nine years old, she started learning to play the clarinet.
